Danny spent 11 years in senior management positions in New Zealand and overseas before joining Freear Philip Ltd. He has brought a wealth of professional management and financial accounting expertise to the company. Danny has implemented many of the management systems that are in place today. He is continually developing systems to achieve the highest levels of effectiveness to assist the management team top best serve our clients. As managing Director, Danny is closely involved with all operating activities of the company and is actively involved in each divisional management team. Danny is directing the company towards an innovative and flexible outlook and a prosperous future.

Dan has been with Freear Philip Ltd since 1997 becoming a Director in 2004. Dan is a Registered Architect with university degrees in Building Science and Architecture. He is also a member of the NZ Institute of Architects. Dan has extensive knowledge of the construction process from design and project management through to construction techniques and material technology. This knowledge has been gained through Dan’s involvement in a wide range of projects that include new commercial and residential buildings, commercial fitouts and a major retail development. Dan’s expertise and industry experience ensures the continuity of excellence and service that Freear Philip brings to their clients. Since his appointment as Director, Dan has managed the Construction Division of Freear Philip through a period of sustained growth that has seen the company successfully complete larger and more complex projects. Dan is keenly aware that the success of the company is based on having the right people and has placed strong emphasis on building and developing a talented team of professionals and skilled tradespeople. This will continue to be Dan’s focus as he continues to develop the excellent reputation Freear Philip enjoys.

Peter joined Freear Philip in 1994 as Business Development Manager. Peter focuses on developing client relationships and provides close liaison throughout a project to ensure expectations are met. Peter also manages the company’s Health and Safety Policy and procedures and is manager of the Painting Division.

Toli is Freear Philip Relocation's Operations Manager and has been with the company since 1995.

Toli's first job with Freear Philip came about as a result of him having seen a relocation in progress and asking the supervisor if there were any vacancies. He was employed later that day and has been with the company ever since.

Toli worked his way up the relocations ladder to become its manager, performing all duties associated with moving. He has moved heavy machinery, mobile shelving, records, libraries, workstations and every sort of office equipment and furniture.

Toli is particularly skilled in dismantling and re-installing all types of desk and workstation systems.

Toli and his experienced team have successfully completed many of both small and large relocation projects.

Obed joined Freear Philip in 2012 as a carpenter, quickly rising to a management position involved in project delivery.  As a Contracts Manager Obed adopts a very hands-on approach to managing projects and works closely with our builders and subcontractors to ensure successful project outcomes. One of Obed’s key concerns in each project is to ensure quality of the finished result and maximising efficiency by ensuring things are done right first time. Obed is responsible for the management of company resources and subcontractors, to ensure successful project delivery from site establishment to handover.

When not at work Obed can be found tearing around local mountain bike tracks or playing rugby for OBU.

Simon completed a carpentry apprenticeship in the 1980s achieving the coveted Fletcher Construction apprentice of the year award along the way.  After working over a decade as a carpenter Simon took up study gaining a National Diploma in Quantity Surveying.  Simon has held senior roles for two leading construction companies in the Hawkes Bay prior to joining Freear Philip Ltd in 2015.  Simon comes with a wealth of expertise in tendering and contract administration.  He is passionate about construction and enjoys seeing buildings come together.
