Dorothy Patisserie
136 Cuba Street, Wellington

This job was particularly difficult to price, this well known Wellington landmark has been a bakery for many years now owned and operated by Mr. Robert Rood.

Earlier this year the production area caught fire destroying the work area, severely damaging the storage and refrigeration areas and the shop was smoke damaged and water logged.

We won the tender after three competitive bids were received and we had an interesting mix of insurance Loss Adjusters, Engineers and two building owners to consider before we started the job.

Our relationships were very good, Peter Smith of Spencer Holmes Engineers was the project manager and the job went smoothly. With a project of this nature there is always some queries and changes to specification which we managed and our subcontractors were very willing to complete the project on time.

Congratulations to Henriette, who managed the paper work and Stefan, who supervised the carpenters.

The clients are all very happy with the end result which looks fantastic.
